Legal Translation

Our main speciality is legal translation. The linguistic and terminological accuracy of legal documents – agreements, contracts, decisions, documents needed in company procedures, corporate documents, documents created or designed to be used in litigious or non-litigious procedures –, the equivalency and accuracy of technical terms, is of utmost importance. Within our company, legal translations are prepared by colleagues with a LAW DEGREE and a TRANSLATION CERTIFICATE and – upon request – are proofread by EDITORS with a LAW DEGREE. Their expertise is the guarantee for the highest achievable quality within this special area.

Certified Translation

Under the Council of Ministers Regulation 24/1986. (VI. 26.), on translating and interpreting, our office is authorised to issue CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS of CORPORATE DOCUMENTS – certificates of incorporation, founding documents, statements, signature specimens / sample signatures, as well as any other documents necessary in corporate procedures – from Hungarian into any official language of the European Union, and vice versa. We prepare translations from and into all the official languages of the European Union – braided and provided with an enclosure – accepted as CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS by the Hungarian companies court and other domestic and foreign institutions and authorities. Naturally, the translation of company documents ordered from us will be in conformity with requirements not only with regard to format – that is, classified as a certified translation – but to contents as well as the translator and editor colleagues of our office are LAWYERS, which guarantees the quality of the contents of the translation, as well as its legal accuracy.

Business Translation

Due to the necessity of the awareness of the technical terminology applied, the translation of business analyses, accountancy reports, reports, corporate evaluations, business plans, budgets and price calculations is an independent area. Documents of these contents are prepared by colleagues with economics/foreign trader degrees, and a qualification in TRANSLATION.

Tourism Translation

In this age of tourism, the translation of texts, websites and publicity material of tourism providers – hotels, other accommodation providers, catering units – in a fast and precise manner, by using the latest terminology, as used by the target-language guests, is especially important. There are many tourism providers among our clients. Therefore, our qualified staff of translators have acquired significant practice of dealing with such texts.

Edited Translations

For texts requiring special quality, it is a generally accepted method of quality assurance that the prepared translations be checked by editors. In the case of documents of outstanding significance, we recommend that our clients use this service. For the editing and proofreading of texts translated by our translators, we secure the cooperation of our own editors.

Proofreading Client Translations

As a special service, we are able to proofread and edit our clients’ own rough translations. From our clients’ point of view, this is the most cost-efficient method of translating, as our editors ensure an appropriate level of quality. In the case of rough translations at an unacceptable quality (corrections exceeding 30–40% of the text), however, we are forced to charge additional fees set out in our general translation tariffs.

Bilingual tracking of changes for the closing of contracts

We recommend this service for lawyers and law offices, to be used during the preparation of contracts to be concluded between Hungarian and foreign parties. During the preparation of a contract underway between two parties, in two different working languages, our legal translators enter the changes made by the parties in one language into a draft contract prepared in the other language, and vice versa. The outstanding feature of this service is its flexibility in time. If need be, we can make changes according to very short deadlines, thus securing the possibility of continuous dialogue between the contracting parties.
